Parking Arrangements For Eid Day

The Masjid car park will be closed on Eid day (for both Eid Prayers).

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to inform you that Hackney Council has approved our request for exemption of parking enforcement for "2024 Eid-ul-Adha" festival, covering 11 places of worships and 65 roads in Hackney, as detailed below. The parking suspension has been approved from 06:00 to 23:00 hours for 4 days (Sunday, 16th June to Wednesday, 19th June 2024).   Insha’Allah, this will help families to be able to celebrate the festival with much more relaxed and peace of mind.

On behalf of Hackney Muslim community, we thank Hackney Parking Enforcement team for approving our request for the 2024 Eid-ul-Adha Festival.  I would also like to thank Hackney Police for their support in ensuring people will be able to perform Eid prayers with peace of mind.

Please note: this exemption ONLY applies in "On-Street Parking Bays" and does not permit parking on the "footway, yellow lines, disabled bays, or in any suspended bays".
